Preventive medecine

The annual health check-up allows you to make a regular inventory of your animal's health. A physical examination can sometimes diagnose diseases before they manifest themselves. A problem caught on time is much more likely to be treated successfully.

Conduct of an annual health check

– Performing a complete clinical examination including cardiorespiratory auscultation, an oral exam, an eye and ear exam, abdominal and lymphatic system palpation, palpation of the udders in females and testicles in males, search for ectoparasites ...

– Nutritional assessment, monitoring the animal's weight.

– Recommendations for the prevention of internal parasites (vermifuge) and external (flea treatment, ticks and other ectoparasites).

– Education tips.

– Definition of the vaccine protocol adapted to the animal.

– Response to the various questions from the owner

– Proposal for additional examinations or care if the health check requires it (blood test, medical imaging, descaling ...)

Vaccination

A vaccine injection can be performed at the end of the annual health check according to the vaccination protocol defined above and if the animal does not present any pathology contraindicating this vaccination.

The species concerned by vaccination are : dogs, chats, ferrets, rabbits, small pet ruminants. Different protocols are possible and will be adapted according to the lifestyle of each animal.
